Little Blue Box

From the title, do you know to which company I am referring?

Yep.  You guessed it ... Tiffany & Co.  The jewelry store has it's own shade of blue and one that every woman can recognize on first glance. I personally love their Christmas window in NYC and the advertisement below.  They have the ability to express joy, elation and love in a single print ad.

The caption reads: Give Voice to Your Heart.  This is the season. This is the person. This is just perfect. This is for Always. It's hard to read in the photo above,  but I still have the print ad torn out and filed away, from 2009 when it was used for the company's Fall/Winter ad campaign.  It's one of my favorite ads of all time.

Whether you're a helpless romantic, simply love their ads or simply love Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's," you'll be thrilled for the news that the jewelry brand is expanding into Hollywood.  Not by bringing their beautiful pieces to celebrities, but by bringing the story of their brand to the big screen.

Due out in Spring 2015, the fully authorized file will take a look at founder Charles Lewis Tiffany and show how the small stationary shop has grown into a global luxury brand. Matthew Miele, who directed "Scatter my Ashes at Bergdorf" will produce the film and New York based Cinetic Media will release the film.

I saw "Scatter my Ashes at Bergdorf" which was an interesting documentary on the process the company undergoes to design and decorate their Christmas window display.  You would be surprised at how much planning and detail goes into the decor. As someone who loves the "behind the scenes" planning, I'm interested to see how the story of Tiffany & Co. unfolds next Spring.
