Fitness: In lieu of shopping or pedicures (which I still do AND enjoy!), I've been spending a lot of "girlfriend time" catch up over Zengo, barre3, yoga or a walk around Georgetown.  We take a class and then enjoy a coffee or snack, before going about the rest of our day. Here are 5 reasons why you should work out with a friend.

Culture: Martin Gaye's family was awarded almost $7.4 million yesterday. The jury felt Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams infringed on Mr. Gaye's copyright during the making of their hit song "Blurred Lines" in 2013.

Culinary: A quick and easy meal, perfectly acceptable for breakfast, lunch or dinner AND one that kids will love.  A win- win on a weekday.

Inspiration: The benefits of meditation have been touted in a bevy of media outlets.  But if you're attempted to sit still for any length of time, you know that can be a bit, um, challenging.  So, start off slowly.  Try 2 minutes.  Do nothing for two minutes and build from there.
