What I Wore :: Old Navy Style

I wear a lot of jackets.  That's not metaphorically, as in "I wear a lot of hats," but I literally have 20+ blazers or jackets hanging in my closet.  It's my look, because they pull together an outfit with minimal effort. Think jeans with a blazer, and depending on the amount of walking/standing, flats or heels.  Super easy, very chic.

Earlier in the month, I had a conference in New York and two back-to-back day trips and I needed a little refresher in my closet.  Off I went.

Over the Christmas holiday, I had ordered a pair of pants that fit and wore well from Old Navy and headed there first.  I found a jacket for the conference and a great top for the sight-seeing trip to Annapolis. Done -- one stop shopping at it's best and at a really reasonable price point.

I paired this jacket (here) with a sleeveless shirt, a pair of slim black pants and nude heels.  I would be seated for most of the day, so I was looking for comfort with the pants and aesthetic with the heels.

I knew I would spend most of the day on my feet, so I went for comfort.  I paired the breezy, white top (here) with a pair of Frame Denim jeans and my hands-free Danielle Nicole bag (here)

The great news? Both pieces are on sale! There's a good chance I'm going to grab a few of these $8 dresses today as well.
