Workout Wednesday: Yoga Inspired

Between working from home and working out, I spend a lot of time (okay, most of my time) in workout clothes or athleasure wear.  This yoga inspired collection is what I'm wearing now, whether it's teaching a class or taking one myself, the fit of each of these pieces is perfect for a studio workout (barre, Pilates, yoga.)

1/ UA Studio Wrap: I have this one in Downtown Green and it feels like I'm wearing a blanket. A great option for running errands or throwing on after a class.  Even though it's a flowy fit, go with your normal size.

2/ UA Long and Lean V-Neck: I can go on and on about this shirt (which also comes in long sleeved and tank). It's snug without being tight and is perfect for yoga/Pilates inversions, because it's not loose at the bottom. I have them in long sleeve and short sleeve (in many colors) AND they're on SALE on the UA site!

3/ S'well Water Bottle: I have the 25-ounce size in "Sparking Champagne" and it travels everywhere with me. Sounds odd to love a water bottle as much as I do this one, but it keeps liquids cold for 24-hours and hot for 12-hours.  I take it to Pilates and Zengo (i.e. low intensity and high intensity) and it doesn't leak when I throw it into my bag.

4/ Kitch: I mean, coffee hair ties? You know I'm in.

5/ 2100 Asanas: I've been practicing yoga for 16 years and earned my 200-hour certification to teach in 2009.  In yoga, the word 'asana' means pose. I love this book because it has variations and modifications that help me construct a class in which everyone can participate, no matter their practice level.

6/ UA SpeedForm StudioLux Mid RF: Purely for wearing to and from the studio, as they don't have a lot of support, but they've been called everything from 'boxing shoes' to 'rad high tops' when people see them. Bottom line? I love them. And they're on sale now!

7/ UA Studio: These pants are great, period. They're comfy and functional, which makes them perfect for a class or errands and, personally, I'm a fan of the 'higher rise'.  I don't like pants that ride down when working out.
