Acquiring Tastes

It’s funny to think back on what my taste buds were like a mere few years ago. Things I once turned my nose up at are now on my long list of favorites. But my recent attitude about life has simply been to at least try everything once. If I don’t like it, then I never have to have it again. 33 or 66: Is Summer 1/3 over or is there still 2/3 remaining?

Perspective can literally change one thing into something else; it truly is all in how you look at it.  While it's hard to believe that July 1 is here, on the other hand, summer technically only just begun 10 days ago, which means we have more than two months remaining in the season! June was a month full of activities and fitness and I created my own list and timeline for actionable items in the month of July.  Glancing back at June and looking forward to July helps to give me the perspective I need to accomplish my goals, reevaluate if necessary and plan accordingly.

Saturday morning, I set out to run the Baltimore 10-miler, which started at the Baltimore Zoo and wove up and down throughout the city.  I was happy to have loved ones there to cheer me on and the race is one that I would definitely do again.  10-miles is the perfect distance and, other than the last mile, which is strait uphill, the course was great

Day 28: Under Armour Workout AND a Giveaway

Day 28 was marked by a workout at the Under Armour facility in Baltimore, MD and boy, was it tough.  I wasn’t sure what to expect, workout wise, but figured that it would be somewhat intense, as they invited two groups of fitness influencers to test out their Armour39 fitness and heart rate monitor workout tracking system.
