Monthly Recap: August 2016

The weather doesn't feel like Fall, but the word Septmeber reminds me of Back-to-School, pumpkin flavored everything and shorter days.  Summer always flies by, much more quickly than winter at least, but 2016 seemed to go by more quickly than other years as well.  It was a busy one professionally and personally, but when years fly by this quickly, it makes me nervous that time will speed up more and more each year. What I Wore :: Old Navy Style

I wear a lot of jackets.  That's not metaphorically, as in "I wear a lot of hats," but I literally have 20+ blazers or jackets hanging in my closet.  It's my look, because they pull together an outfit with minimal effort. Think jeans with a blazer, and depending on the amount of walking/standing, flats or heels.  Super easy, very chic.

The Price is Right

As a child of the 80's, I watched the Price is Right once or twice.  The gist of the show was to have contestants guess the amount of the showcase or item, where the guesser couldn't approximate an amount that totaled more than the amount the item was worth.  Many guests would bet $1 if they thought the previous bids were way over priced.  Other than that, I remember the host saying at the end of every show "and don't forget to spay and neuter your animals!"
