Lessons learned from 30-Days of Fitness

This was the year I wrote the least. Of course, I can make up excuses as to why -- more clients, more fitness, etc., but the fact is, I just didn't make time.  I've been doing the challenge for 5 years now and over the course of 5 years, it's just "what I do" -- it's a part of my day. Winding Down :: Year 5

I had a yoga teacher tell me once, the older I become, the faster the years go, that years go, because I have a greater perspective on time.  When you reach 30, 40, and 50, you have more experience on which to draw and your appreciation of time is greater, because you've lived longer than, say, a 5-year old.  That was a long way to say that each year, the 30 for 30 goes by more quickly than the last and this one is winding down with only a few days to go.

Day 20 :: 30 for 30 + the Arena Pro Series in Mesa Arizona

Happy Monday! In DC, it's muggy and raining, but in just a few short days, I'm headed to Florida for a much-needed vacation.  Yes,  I'm literally counting the days (2 more to be exact!)  Last week, I was in Arizona for Michael's first race since last summer's Pan Pacific Games in Australia and it was nice to reconnect with friends and other swimming families, and under better conditions!
