Rainy Day Fun for Kids

My six and eight year old kids love their i-pads.  I was determined that they were not going to spend the day with their noses stuck in the electronic devices.I will admit it, I love Google.  It helped me with my school work and I am pretty sure that I could find anything I ever needed to know by Googling it, so  I jumped online and did some research.  I found that there are a number of things that an ocean community offers for days like this.

Weekend Recap :: Family Beach Vacation

Last week, my extended family went to the beach. We made salsa, read, spent time on the beach and ate a boatload of ice cream. This is the second year that we've gone and have committed to making it an annual getaway. Although we talked about changing the location, maybe North Carolina, maybe Delaware, the beach will be the ultimate destination.
